ದೃಷ್ಯ: ಕಿರಣ್ - ಅಮೀರ್ ಡೈನಿಂಗ್ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಎದುರು ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಿರಣ್ - (ಅಸಮಧಾನದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ) ಈಗೀಗ ನೀನು ತುಂಬಾ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡ್ಕೋತೀಯಾ... ಸುಮ್-ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಾಗ್ತೀಯ!
ಅಮೀರ್ - (ಮುಖ ಗಂಟಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡು) ಇಲ್ಲ... ಹಾಗೇನಿಲ್ಲ...
ಕಿರಣ್ - ನೋಡು ಈಗ್ಲೂ ಕೋಪ... ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಾ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾಡೋಕೆ ಹೆದರಿಕೆ ಈಗೀಗ... ಏನು
ಪ್ರಾಬ್ಲಮ್?
ಅಮೀರ್ - (ಒಂದು ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ಬಿಟ್ಟು) ಏನಿಲ್ಲಾ ಈ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಂದಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಮನಸ್ಸೇ ಸರಿ
ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಂಗೆ ಟಾಲರೇಟ್ ಮಾಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗ್ತಿಲ್ಲ!
ಕಿರಣ್ - ನಿಂಗೇನೋ ಮೋದಿ ಆಗ್ದೆ ಇರಬಹುದು. ಆದ್ರೆ ಅವ್ರು ನಿಂಗೇನು ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ ತಾನೆ... ಹಿಂದೂ
ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾಗಿ ತೋರ್ಸಿದ್ರೂ ಪಿ.ಕೆ. ಚೆನ್ನಾಗೇ ನಡೀತು ತಾನೆ?...
ಅಮೀರ್ - (ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ) ಅದೇ... ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನ
ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ.. ನಾನು ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಇಂಟಾಲರೆನ್ಸ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಮೆಂಟ್
ಕೊಡ್ಬೋದು ಅಂದ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ... ಬ್ಯಾನ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದ್ಕೊಂಡೆ... ಬ್ಯಾನ್ ಹಾಕೋದು ಬಿಡು ಒಂದು ಮಾತೂ
ಹೇಳಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ...
ಕಿರಣ್ - ಸರಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂಡ್ರೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ? ಪಾಪ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆದರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾ?
ನಿಂಗೆ ಕಮೆಂಟ್ ಮಾಡ್ಲೇ ಬೇಕು ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಸತ್ಯಮೇವ ಜಯತೇ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಇದ್ಯಲ್ಲಾ? ಅದ್ರಲ್ಲೇ ಏನಾದ್ರೂ ಕಮೆಂಟ್ ಮಾಡು...
ಅಮೀರ್ - (ಮುಖ ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿಸಿ, ಫುಲ್ ಗರಂ ಆಗಿ) ಈಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ
ಕತ್ತರಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತ ಅನ್ನಿಸ್ತಾ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮೋದಿ ವಿಶನ್ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ಪ್ರಾಬ್ಲಮ್
ಸರಿ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ನಂಗೆ ಆ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್‌ಗೂ ಟಾಪಿಕ್ ಸಿಗಲ್ಲ. ಏನ್ ಮಾಡೋದು? ಸಿನೆಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಅದೃಷ್ಟ ಯಾವಾಗ ಕೈಕೊಡುತ್ತೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಟೈಮ್ ಕೆಟ್ಟರೆ ಅಡ್ವಟೈಸ‍ಮೆಂಟ್
ಕೂಡಾ ಸಿಗಲ್ಲ ಗೊತ್ತಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯಮೇವ ಜಯತೇ ನಿಂತ್ರೆ ದುಡ್ಡು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತರೋದು? ಮನೆ ಓಡ್ಸೋದು ಹೆಂಗೆ?
ಕಿರಣ್ - ನಂಗೆ ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕರಿಯರ್ ಪ್ರಾಬ್ಲಮ್‌ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರೋದು ನಂಗೆ
ಇಷ್ಟ ಆಗಲ್ಲ. ನಿಂಗೆ ಈಗೀಗ ತಾಳ್ಮೆನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪ ತಾಪ ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ ನಂಗೆ ಭಯ ಆಗತ್ತೆ. ಈಗ
ಏಳೆಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಟಾಲರೆನ್ಸ್ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ನಂಗೆ ಅನ್ಸುತ್ತೆ
ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ತೆಗೋಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಈ ಪಾಲಿಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲಾದರು ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು
ದಿನ ಹಾಲಿಡೇಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ,
ಅಮೀರ್ - (ಅಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಯಾವುದೋ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ) ಪುನಃ ಹೇಳು... ಏನಾಗ್ತಾ ಇದೆ.
ಕಿರಣ್ - (ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ) ಇಂಟಾಲರೆನ್ಸ್ ತುಂಬಾ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆ ಆಗ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾದ್ರೂ
ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ. ಅರ್ಥ ಆಯ್ತಾ?
ಅಮೀರ್ - ಸಾಕು ಸಾಕು... ನಂಗೆ ಇದೇ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತು...

****Intolerance Drama****
Scene: Kiran & Amir are sitting
at the dining table.
Kiran – (In
grave voice) These days you get angry very often... For no reasons... Whats
wrong?
Amir – (frowning)
Nothing like that... I am fine...
Kiran – See,
even now you are angry. Even kids are afraid to speak to you these days. Whats
the matter?
Amir – (With
a sigh) After this Modi government came into power I am disturbed. I cant
tolerate this.
Kiran – You might
not like Modi, might have differences with him, but what has his government
done to you? In-spite of mocking Hindu gods PK did very well. Isn’t it?
Amir – (now
again with angry face) I expected them to make PK a big issue. I was completely
prepared to make comments on government about their intolerance. I expected
that they would ban the movie... But no single comment...
Kiran – Ok..
I understand... But showing anger at home isn’t the solution right? Do you
know, our kids are afraid to speak to you these days.
If you want
to make comments on government use your Satyameva Jayate program. Bring up some
issue there with which you can make comments on intolerance.
Amir – (Angry
red face) I feel even that might come to an end. If this government addresses
& solves issues with the vision of Modi I will not have any topic for that
program. An artist can lose his star value anytime... If times are bad you dont
even get endorsements... And then if Satyameva Jayate ends what do I do? Don’t
we need money for our luxurious life?
Kiran – I don’t
know what you are going to do. Don’t bring your career tension to home. I dont
like it. You dont have patience these days. Intolerance is rising in the last
7-8 months. I am worried about the future of our children. I think you should
take a break. Forget all these politics for some time. Lets go for a vacation
outside India.
Amir – (As
if he wasn’t listening) Come again...
Kiran – (Shouting
in anger) Intolerance is rising... I am worried about the future of our kids. Lets
go somewhere outside India... Understood?
Amir –
Enough... This is what I was looking for...
