Dont intimidate the teachers!

During this time of COVID19 schools are working towards starting online classes & introducing e-learning methodologies. Some schools have started experimenting this for higher classes.

It's first of its kind experience for teachers and students; it might take some time for them to get used to it, initial hick ups are going to be there. Hence its very important that parents make things comfortable and NOT intimidate teachers.

In our society the cream pursues professional courses and enter into high paying professions.
Teaching is certainly not one of the preferred choices. Even within teaching preference goes to university lecturing & not primary school teaching. There will be exceptions, some are taking up teaching out of passion.

Teachers might do spelling mistakes, their pronunciation might not be 100% perfect, some time they might not have 100% clarity on concepts.

I think as parents, it's extremely important NOT to insult teaches in front of children. Otherwise children will lose respect towards their teachers.
Also if children build a perception that 'my teacher doesn't know' then it will impact learning.

Feedback can be conveyed in separate one to one communication or through online suggestions channel. Let the feedback be constructive.

Another very important aspect to be aware of is that we might be incorrect, we might have wrong understanding of concepts.
What parents think as 'right way of teaching' might have been tested and failed!

Like you get annoyed when someone interferes in your work teachers will also get annoyed.

Support teachers and show empathy instead of interfering and intimidating.

Finally, in my view, it's perfectly fine if the school starts few months later. Some chapters can be removed or shifted to next year.
